I completed a 95 hour Children's Yoga & Mindfulness program with Little Flower Yoga, a Yoga Alliance approved school.  I've been practicing yoga, mindfulness and meditation for a combined 15 years.  I believe these practices can help everyone manage life’s ups and downs, get more restful sleep, build self-esteem as well as manage and heal from anxiety and depression.  The tools students learn in my classes enable them to self-regulate their emotions, let go of negative thoughts, stay focused and live in the present moment fully and joyfully.

Join Little Flower Yoga Member Teacher, Tricia Held, in a program designed to help your child become the best version of him or herself.  Little Flower Yoga offers students a unique experience combining yoga and mindfulness in a developmentally appropriate way to support the success of all children and adolescents.  LFY’s proven curriculum challenges students to learn in new ways, make connections, and recognize their tremendous capacity to achieve. 

 

The approach incorporates five key elements in each session; connect, breathe, move, focus and relax.

Through these elements, and within a framework of respect for all students, compassionate communication, and joyful exploration, students are taught fundamental life skills that are immediately available for daily use.
