Family Workshop:  Emotional Freedom Technique & Yoga

The mission of this workshop is healing, connecting and community. 

Through healing ourselves, we can heal and strengthen our families and ultimately

make our community a stronger, more peaceful place to live and raise our children.

Are you exhausted, stressed, sometimes overwhelmed, struggling to cope with life's challenges and your busy schedule?

Tired of feeling frustrated, like you just don't know how to help yourself or your kids? 

​

Do your children ever experience anxiety, frustration, sadness, anger or difficulty sleeping?

​

This fun Family Workshop combines education and activities to help families connect, bond and have a good time together!

Parents and children will learn proven techniques for managing their emotions so they feel peaceful and happy.  The program will take place outdoors in a park where fresh air and nature will help relax and inspire everyone!

​

What is Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT/Tapping)?

EFT or tapping, is one the amazing tools you’ll learn.  Tapping can help you identify, manage and release your negative emotions so you take back your life--and HAPPINESS!  

​

During the EFT session, you'll learn:

​

  • How to use Tapping

  • When to use Tapping

  • Practice the technique (the only way to truly learn it)

​

During the Yoga Session you’ll learn:

​

  • Calming breathing techniques

  • Yoga postures (poses) to strengthen & stretch muscles, help focus

  • A visualization/guided meditation to help relax (great for before or in bed)

  • A Mindfulness craft that families can use to implement a weekly activity that will bring them together to focus on positivity and gratitude.  This helps families connect and bond.

  • We’ll end the workshop with a group activity & meditation including all the families to connect as a Community

Mom of a son in Kindergarten, Tricia has been practicing yoga and meditation for 15 years.  She believes these practices can help everyone manage life’s challenges, get more restful sleep, build self-esteem, manage and heal from anxiety and depression.  Students learn tools in her classes which enable them to self-regulate emotions, let go of negative thoughts, stay focused and live in the present moment fully and joyfully.  Happy Hearts, Peaceful Kids!

Dawn has two kids, 1.5 and 5.5 years old. She is passionate about helping exhausted, frustrated and stressed out parents ditch the stress and overwhelm.  Dawn especially loves working with moms who are struggling with the baby blues, maternal depression or just frustrated with the challenges that babies and toddlers bring to the table.  She believes family happiness starts with self-healing and is dedicated to helping parents learn how to break free of the past so they can create the family of their dreams.
